Senior actor Srikanth, who recently won appreciation for his cop's role in his  last release Terror, has landed himself in a legal trouble for yet another cop's role in his latest film Mental Police. Today, the Police Officer's Association in Hyderabad served legal notice to Srikanth and Mental Police's makers.

The Police Officer's Association alleged that the film's unit has insulted the police department and also hurt their sentiments. The association further alleged that the title 'Mental Police' is making a mockery of the respect policemen command in the society.

The association also demanded that the film's title be replaced and any objectionable scenes be censored. In the film's trailer which was released in January, Srikanth was seen wearing a garland of chappals and sitting on the road. The film was directed by K Babji. -
