Long standing argument about allowing women into few temples across the country has taken a new and liberal route when court ruled out temple policies to keep women away. The latest order from Mumbai high court will allow women in Sani Sihingnapur temple.
Reacting to the court's order, Sankaracharya Swaroopananda Saraswathi warns of dire consequences like more and more women get raped in this country and allowing them into temples is the biggest mistake ever. He left similar warnings earlier about allowing women into temples.
Court however ruled the gender based discrimination out, as it is against constitution. The court judgement finally is making the authorities to allow women into the temple.
