Is KCR going away from JAC?

By sy on 5:35:00 PM
TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao appears to be distancing himself from the Telangana political JAC and its chief Prof. Kodandaram.

This attitude of KCR is becoming clearer by the day after his party's debacle at the hands of BJP in the recent Mahabubnagar by-election, where the local JAC has supported the BJP.

KCR who was all praise for the JAC and Kodandaram in the tenth anniversary of the party last year, has not uttered a single word about the role either of them in the eleventh anniversary held here on Friday. Though there was a passing remark about the Sakala Janula Samme, he still had not mentioned about the role of the JAC in organizing it.

KCR has spit fire on BJP also. He said some 'mad caps are stating that only national parties are capable of achieving Telangana. But where are the national parties? The parties claiming to be national, are existing only in regions. There is no national party worth the name" he said in an indirect attack on BJP. He has asserted that only TRS was capable of achieving the 'T' state.

While KCR was subtle in his attack on BJP, Nayani Narasimha Reddy was more vocal. Calling BJP state president Kishan Reddy a kid in politics, Nayani expressed anger at his criticism of TRS. He has questioned why Kishan Reddy had not resigned for Telangana like the TRS legislators. He said Congress party's expulsion of its Telangana MPs was a mere drama to gain electoral benefits in Seemandhra, Nayani has alleged.

Will the wait for 'T' be for another 11 years?

The statement of KCR that his party has fought for eleven years for Telangana and would fight for it for another 11 years if necessary, has given rise to doubts about the creation of Telangana in the near future. Supporting KCR, another senior leader Chandrasekhar has said the fight for Jharkhand was two-decade long. A similar fight might be necessary even for Telangana he said and added that his party was ready for such prolonged fight.

Ramulamma unhappy?

TRS MP Vijaya Shanti appeared to be unhappy that she was not given a chance to speak in the public meeting. She hopped into her car as soon as the meeting was over and sped away to Hyderabad, without waiting for pleasantries with KCR and other leaders. Why has KCR not invited his only MP colleague, that too a glamorous lady leader to address the public meeting has become a topic of discussion in political circles.
