After Chiranjeevi confirmed his 150th film officially, one thing is getting common in any award function. We can see one or the other heroine breaking into Chiru's evergreen 'Venna' step from Indra.
It is a known fact that Cinemaa Awards designed a special concept on Chiru's 150th film. Many actors like SAi Dharam, Navdeep, Sunil, Srikanth and others danced for Chiru's hit tracks and even Chiru shook his leg for his popular number from 'Gang Leader'. In those awards, we even saw 'Kanche' actress Pragya Jaiswal doing the 'Veena' step.
After a few days, we saw Rakul braking into the same 'Veena' step during her performance at Filmfare night. Recently, 'Akhil' fame Saayesha Sahegal too performed the same 'Veena' step in Singapore during SIIMA awards presentation.
So, are all these performances, a part of welcoming back Chiru?

In an unexpected turnaround of events, a large group of TRS activists attacked senior Telangana politician and BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy after disrupting his press meet in Mahabubnagar just a while ago.
Nagam held the press meet at the BJP office to express dissent over the proposed projects by the KCR government. Cadres of both the parties got into a heated argument and there are even reports of physical attacks.
Nagam clarified that he is not against the projects or development in the region and that he is only opposing the rampant corruption in the name of contact allotments of these projects.
Nagam has been venting out his dissent over the projects since many days and the bad blood between him and the TRS leaders has worsened beyond repair. However, the TRS leaders should not have behaved in their usual way in which they carried out the intense protests during the separate Telangana movement.

Nara Rohit's long delayed project Shankara is finally releasing, not in Telugu, but in Hindi as dubbed version. The film directed by Tatineni Satya Prakash has been failing to see lights for three years, even though it was produced by star producer KS Rama Rao in association with RV Chandramouli Prasad. Dusky beauty Regina Cassandra played female lead opposite Nara Rohit in the movie.
As per reports, the Hindi dubbed version of Shankara will hit the screens in August. This movie indeed a remake of Tamil hit movie Mouna Guru. The same movie has been remade in Hindi with few changes and the Bollywood version named Akira is releasing on September 2nd.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Akira stars Sonakshi Sinha playing lead role. With a film releasing with same concept, it will be troublesome for Murugadoss and his project. Although, Shankara Hindi version may not do wonders at box office, it is expected to be screened in small screens shortly after its theatrical release. So, audience would get a feeling that, Murugadoss has copied this movie.
Murugadoss is popular in Bollywood with the films Ghajini and Holiday. Expectations are good on Akira, since Bollywood spectators equally prefer watching female centric movies. Moreover, the film's first look poster got immense response. Let's see whether Shankara will affect Akira anyway or not! - uf

Even after becoming s a star director Maruthi is trying hard to make a quick buck. He keeps on churning these adult comedies in the wake of creating some hype for his future projects. But time and again he falls flat.
The germ in him for these adult comedies never seems to die. He writes a small story and weaves around some contemporary issues and showcases females in a bad light. Particular, his films have female bashing and he writes superb dialogues to showcase them.
But here with his latest film Rojulu Maryai, he has gone one step ahead and made the two heroines the villains of the film and showcasing them with absolutely no moral values. Nothing is wrong in that but for how many films will he use the same formulae.
Topic here is that his choice never seems to change. Whatever be the subject, female bashing and double meaning dialogues are a must for his film which he produces these days.
This clearly shows that he wants to cash in on his image. But the industry insiders now feel that in wake of doing all these things, he might loose his current popularity too which is on the rise. -

Going by trailer, Nirmala Convent is a fresh, pure love story, as Nag himself describes it towards the end, between a teenage school couple, Samuel (actor Srikanth's son Roshan) and Shruti (child actress turned heroine Shriya Sharma). What happens when Samuel challenges Nag, who plays a special role in the film, forms the crux of the story.
The trailer is well complemented by senior music director Koti's son Roshan Saluri's vibrant and peppy music, which also features AR Rahman's son AR Ameen's debut Telugu song, Vishweshar's colorful visuals and finally, the fresh chemistry between the film's young lead cast, Roshan and Shriya.
Interestingly, Nag's voice-over which narrates the film's story, sounds more like one of his speeches in the Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu game show. Roshan has the looks to be a hero material. Let's see if he will make a striking debut this monsoon season. -
