Nara Rohit's long delayed project Shankara is finally releasing, not in Telugu, but in Hindi as dubbed version. The film directed by Tatineni Satya Prakash has been failing to see lights for three years, even though it was produced by star producer KS Rama Rao in association with RV Chandramouli Prasad. Dusky beauty Regina Cassandra played female lead opposite Nara Rohit in the movie.

As per reports, the Hindi dubbed version of Shankara will hit the screens in August. This movie indeed a remake of Tamil hit movie Mouna Guru. The same movie has been remade in Hindi with few changes and the Bollywood version named Akira is releasing on September 2nd.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Akira stars Sonakshi Sinha playing lead role. With a film releasing with same concept, it will be troublesome for Murugadoss and his project. Although, Shankara Hindi version may not do wonders at box office, it is expected to be screened in small screens shortly after its theatrical release. So, audience would get a feeling that, Murugadoss has copied this movie.

Murugadoss is popular in Bollywood with the films Ghajini and Holiday. Expectations are good on Akira, since Bollywood spectators equally prefer watching female centric movies. Moreover, the film's first look poster got immense response. Let's see whether Shankara will affect Akira anyway or not! -  uf
