Vasanth Paul, a Chennai-based Photographer, on Saturday morning took to Facebook to claim he has save a young woman from being raped by a trio while returning home after 'Kabali' show. He even shared some of the pictures highlighting the injury marks on his body. The post received nearly 1.5 lakh likes and was shared by over 35,000 times.
Much to everyone's shock, Vasanth Paul was unable to take the cops accompanying him to the place where the incident happened. Neither the woman nor the auto driver has been traced so far. Mr.Vasanth told to police that he wasn't able to report to the nearest police station as he was intoxicated.
Upon reading the post, Anchor Anasuya vented out her anger on the trio and heaped praises on Vasanth Paul for saving the woman. Even this man received word-of-praise from many quarters for his gutsy act.
The statement of police raise the doubts if the whole incident was just a creation of Vasanth Paul. Did this man shared the post under the influence of alcohol? or Was he just unable to guide the cops to the exact location?
