In yet another major terror strike on Europe's super power France, at least 80 people were killed and many injured when an armed terrorist in a truck packed with weapons ploughed through the revelers who were taking part in the Bastille Day, France's national day in the French choto of Nice.
Hundreds of revelers were enjoying a grand display of fireworks on the French Riviera. That was when the 31-year-old terrorist of Tunisian origin drove the truck which was fully loaded with grenades, guns and larger weapons. Describing the horrific incident, witnesses that bodies flew like bowling pins along truck's route.
The maniac terrorist continued his horror for about 2 kilometres driving through the city's busy street, ramming through the people in his path. Not stopping here, the terrorist jumped out of the truck and opened fire on the crowd, leaving many dead.
Cops immediately opened fire on the man and shot him dead. The terrorist was shouting "allahu Akbar" (God is great) before being shot by the police. Preliminary information reveals the terrorist was suspected have belonged to the ISIS as the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack. -
