Telangana Government is mulling to set up a Film Institute with state of the art infrastructure in Hyderabad very soon.
Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav told: 'CM KCR is keen on establishing an Film Institute of International standards. 100 acres will be sanctioned for it. Even a Convention Centre is being planned. Government is considering the Build-Operate-Transfer Scheme for setting up them'.
Talasani informed that state awards popularly known as Nandi Awards will have a 'Name' change. He proposed single-window permissions for Film Shoots within just one week.
The Minister declares all the theatres will be allowed to screen 5 Shows daily to resolve theaters issue for Small Films. He adds, Low-Budget Films will be screened during the 5th Show. Permissions for 200-seating capacity theatres will granted soon
