It has been a while since the Telugu box office has witnessed a notable film. Finally a couple of noteworthy films have hit the marquee today. Allari Naresh's Selfie Raja and Trisha's Nayaki are releasing today to quench the thirst of film lovers.

Selfie Raja is an out and out comedy entertainer that checks every box of a typical Allari Naresh’s film. Trisha’s Nayaki is a horror film that has caught the attention of the genre lovers. 

Selfie Raja team has been aggressive with their promotions but Nayaki makers are hardly promoting it. However, Trisha’s popularity plus the interesting publicity material should help Nayaki to get decent attendance over the weekend.

Allari Naresh has been running through bad phase and hopes that Selfie Raja would put an end to his miseries. Panileni Puliraju and Punnami Ratri also have seen light today. But the focus is only on Nayaki and Selfie Raja.

This will be a tremendous push for Sai Dharam Tej’s career if reports on his next movie confirmed with director Gautham Vasudev Menon are true. Yes, unofficial reports claim on Gautham has already paid advances blocking the dates of Anushka and Tamanna for a film which will have Sai Dharam Tej in Telugu, Prithvi Raj in Malayalam and Puneet Rajkumar on board for Kannada versions.

Actually, this project was initially finalized with Simbu, Nivin Pauly and Naga Chaitanya to play respective lead roles in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu languages. Buzz also mentioned on parallel participation of these stars in all three languages making it a true and massive multi starrer.

In his latest promotional interview for a popular media house, Rama Raju revealed about his thoughts of quitting films post the disappointing result of Mallelatheeram. The director said that Mallelatheeram was meant for a niche audience but it was not promoted or marketed in the right way, resulting in the film’s disastrous fate.

Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming flick, Premam, is getting ready to hit the screens soon. A remake of the Malayalam blockbuster with the same name, the film is a coming-of-age musical love story.

In the movie, Naga Chaitanya dons three roles of the same character across three different time periods. One of the roles requires Naga Chaitanya to blend himself into the skin of a 16-year-old school student. Apparently, Naga Chaitanya lost approximately 16 kilos for the role and used to follow a strict diet and fitness routine to look his part.

Apparently, the entire crew was bewildered on the first day of shoot. The film’s audio is slated to be released soon, while the movie is touted to come out on August 12th

it had already reported that Sunil is busy giving finishing touches to his latest film Jakkanna. Latest update reveals that audio of the film will be released on the 24th of this month.

As the adage goes it is hard to hide love. The 'friendship' that director Puri Jagannadh and actress Charmee have is known to all. 

Recently news came that Puri broke up with his friendship and professional association with Charmee in the wake of rumors about their relationship.

It was said that he asked her to leave his office so that people would stop talking about them as it is straining his family relationship. 

This news has widely been reported in all the media. Puri Jagannadh then went on to direct movies for other banners and Charmee is not seen in the Puri's camp. So everyone believed that their break up was real.

Three distributors trying to attack Puri Jagannadh at his office has sent shock waves in Tollywood. Although Puri Jagannadh is not producer of "Loafer", the distributors demanding money from him for the losses has made industry worry.

Puri Jagannadh is in financial mess as he has lost huge money by producing movies and also wasting the money for his "personal joyful exercises". He has now stopped producing movies on his banner.

Puri Jagannadh will be working with other producers for remuneration. His next film with Kalyan Ram is to be produced by the Nandamuri hero himself.

Puri is also directing a movie called "Rogue" introducing a new hero and for which he is being paid whopping Rs 10 Cr as remuneratio

The trailers of Mahesh Babu’s Bramhotsavam are out and reveal so much about the film. Two star heroines Samantha and Kajal are showcased romancing Mahesh in the trailer and this raised a good amount of expectations.

But the real point here is that who will Mahesh end up with in the film. Though the film is a complete family entertainer, the way it has been showcased in a romantic triangle featuring these star heroines looks intriguing.

Fans are very eager to know that who will end up marring Mahesh and this itself is a huge twist in the film. Also, the presence of Pranitha and where she will fit in this set up is another suspense.
